Join the friends of the Arizona Public Health Assocition for a lively discussion and presentation about health care reform in Arizona.
The objectives for this conference are:
1. Identify critical public health components for successful health care reform.
2. Discuss health care reform alternatives currently proposed in Arizona and nationally.
3. Develop strategies for promoting public health principles in health reform proposals through interactive discussion.
4. Discuss and propose ways that managed care plans and public health agencies and programs can work together to achieve shared goals.
Roundtable discussions will be held in the afternoon with facilitated discussion. Continuing education credits will be available for nurses, certified health education specialists, dentists, dental hygenists, and environmental health specialists.
